For my thesis at the Freie Schule für Gestaltung, I developed a concept for a crowdfunding platform designed to support startups in emerging markets by connecting them with interested funders. My research highlighted that young companies in these regions often face significant barriers in accessing capital, which limits local economic growth and innovation. My solution was to create a platform that connects private and institutional investors directly with these startups or small companies, providee mentorship, and allows investors to contribute to a future, where we (hopefully) see a reduction in poverty.

The development process encompassed the full creation of the corporate identity (CI), user interface (UI), and user experience (UX). The name "PLUS" was chosen to emphasize connectivity — at that time, no streaming platforms were using the "+" symbol yet ;). The design aims to strike a balance between professionalism and innovation, combining a modern aesthetic with approachable sophistication. Smooth animations and interactive features enable users to navigate the site seamlessly, making even highly information-dense sections engaging and enjoyable to explore.
